A fully-hosted solution with simple, well-defined interfaces.


Galleries provides a complete solution for creating, deploying, and managing chatbot directories.

There are two main components of the solution: the operator-facing Management Console, and the subscriber-facing Chatbot Gallery.

Galleries overview

Subscribers encounter the Chatbot Gallery from within a native Android host application (typically this is the default messaging application they already use for carrier messaging). The Chatbot Gallery is rendered dynamically for each subscriber, offering the ultimate in flexibility. Operators can make changes to Galleries without requiring any changes to the host application, allowing for rapid experimentation and always-fresh content.

Management of Galleries is accomplished using the Management Console. This is a web-based console that provides access to all management functionality, allowing network operators to configure, publish, and monitor their directories in realtime.

Galleries is a fully-hosted solution, which means that all of the infrastructure required to deploy it is managed by Direqt. There is no requirement to install additional components in the operator network, nor is it necessary to provide any privileged access to the platform. As part of the same global Direqt platform powering the Direqt In-chat Ad Network, Galleries features multiple worldwide content delivery networks (CDNs) to ensure a highly available and responsive user experience.

Host application integration

As noted, Galleries does not require any integration with network operator infrastructure. It does, however, require that a reference to the Chatbot Gallery be integrated into the carrier messaging application (or other host application).

If you partner with one of the leading messaging applications, chances are that Direqt has already done the hard work for you, and we can assist you in enabling Gallery functionality without any development work by your team. This typically involves enabling ACS settings to point the application at Direqt's servers. Contact your account manager for specific details.

If you have a custom host application you'd like to use, for example if you'd like to integrate Chatbot Gallery into a customer service application you preload on devices, integration can be accomplished with less than a couple dozen lines of code. We can provide you with the complete source code for a fully-documented reference application that shows exactly how this is done.

Optional directory integration

While not required to unlock any functionality, Galleries can be configured to read information about available chatbots if your network has a compatible CDF interface. This can make the process of setting up Galleries a little bit easier, because it eliminates the need to manually enter chatbot information (such as name and SIP URL) into the Management Console. Ask your account manager if you're interested in enabling this functionality for your account.
